ATTEMPT ROBBERY

Description

On Thursday, May 9th 2013 at 7:15pm, a 30 year old woman, Resident of Santiago Juan Layout, visited the San Ignacio Police Station and reported that on 9th May 2013, at 7:10pm, she was at her door steps entering her house when she felt someone grab her from behind attempting to place his arm around her neck and mouth. She screamed and managed to turn, facing the person. She noticed that his face was covered with a dark blue color shirt. He immediately let go of her and ran with what appeared to be a knife in his hand. She looked in the direction he was running and saw another male person coming out from under the veranda of a nearby house. The other male person joined him running, in the same direction. The male person is described to be of Hispanic descent, about 5ft in height, slim built, wearing a short faded jeans pants and dark shirt. Police investigations continue.
