SHOOTING INCIDENT

Description

On 11th June 2013 at about 7:50pm, Police visited the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where they saw Cecil GILL, 39 year old Laborer of Pine Street, Belize City, suffering from a gunshot wound to the nose and left foot. Also seen was Rafael Francisco AQUET, 57 year old Laborer - also of Pine Street, suffering from a gunshot wound to the left shoulder. Initial investigations revealed that, on the same date at about 7:40pm, Cecil GILL and Rafael AQUET were walking on Pine Street heading home from the direction of Ebony Street when a male person, standing at the corner of Hondo Street and Ebony Street, fired several shots at them causing the above mentioned injuries. Both Cecil GILL and Rafael Francisco AQUET were admitted to ward in a stable condition. Police investigation continues.
