Robbery by Masked Men

Marlena DUECK, 31 year old Belizean Unemployed and Resident of mile 45 on the George Price Highway, reported that on 29th April 2013, at 2:00pm, she was driving her White 2000 Terios SUV from Valley of Peace en route to Belmopan City and while on the Agripino Cawich bridge, she saw two dark complexion male persons of medium built wearing stockings over their faces. They were armed with 9mm pistols as they exited the bushes and pointed a gun at her. They demanded money and valuables from her; however, she did not hand over anything. At the time she was accompanied by a friend who was robbed of (1) Alcatel cellular phone, (1) hand bag containing purse with ID cards, ATM Card, $1,750.00bcy in cash and other assorted items. No one was injured during the robbery. Police are investigating.
