SHOOTING INCIDENT

Acting on information received of a Shooting Incident on Neal’s Pen Road; on 1st June 2013 at 8:42pm, Police visited the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where they saw Arthur BAPTIST, 24 year old of a Neal Pen Road address, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to the left side of his head. Melvin BAPTIST, 44yrs, was also seen with an apparent gunshot wound to the back of the head. Initial investigations revealed that at about 7:20pm, on the same date, both men were sitting inside Melvin BAPTIST’s Barbershop - located on Neal’s Pen Road - when two men of dark complexion on separate bicycles rode up to the shop and fired several shots causing their injuries. Retrieved from the scene were seven 9mm expended shells. Both men were admitted to ward in a critical condition. Police are seeking two culprits in connection with this latest shooting.
